Smithstown have further invested in our 5 axis Machining capabilities. In March 2015 we a have added 2 new Mikron HSM 400U LP machines, complete with a 3R WPTI robotic pallet loader

The Mikron HSM 400U LP, machines in all 5 axes simultaneously and uses linear drives to achieve an excellent surface finish on hardened concave and convex surfaces even under high feed rates.

The 3R WPTI robotic loader will service both machines, with a 96 pallet capacity, the increased automation will improve productivity and efficiency by reducing machine setup times.
