Design for Manufacturing

We simplify, optimise and refine your product design. With the wide range of machining resources and services available at Smithstown, we can offer everything you may need during the DFM process which can incorporate comprehensive Quality Assurance processes such as PPAP including Process maps, Risk analysis, First article inspections, Process capabilities, Gauge R & R. As well as rigorous testing and debugging by our experienced toolmakers.

Manufacturing

At Smithstown Light Engineering, we machine and manufacture high quality precision components in low to super high volume batches. We can also provide contract manufacturing services and can operate in Kanban capacity offering our customers increased efficiency in their supply chain. All manufactured items can be delivered to the customer with agreed inspection reports or can undergo a full validation if requested. We offer a high degree of automation in our production processes which will help keep labour costs in your product to a minimum.
